The Foundation
Abi started riding when she was just six years old, but her world truly changed on her twelfth birthday when she was surprised with a mare named Raven. Raven became the ultimate "do-it-all" partner, staying by Abi's side from her early days in Pony Club all the way to achieving her dream of opening her own facility. Together, they traveled the East Coast and made it to the USPC National Championships in dressage, show jumping, and eventing. Raven also became the first horse Abi used to teach younger riders the foundations of horsemanship, and the solid footing she provided later allowed Abi to take on the New Vocations Challenge with her first OTTB. Through the most formative years of her life, Raven taught her life's biggest lessons. Without her, there simply would be no Raven’s View.
Our Mission
Our Vision
Built from a dream
From Sketchbook to Reality
After years of searching for the perfect existing farm, Abi decided to take the leap and build from the ground up, turning years of sketches and blueprints into real life. They broke ground on construction, slowly turning those long-held dreams into a reality. Every unique idea that went into the design and layout of the barn was inspired by top facilities Abi had visited throughout her life, taking her favorite safety and care aspects of each and combining them into one tailored blueprint.
A decade, come full circle
The Circle Closes
When the facility was finally ready, it only felt right that Raven was the very first horse to step into the barn. Having her lead the way closed the circle on a journey that began over a decade prior. Today, she remains the reason behind the name, the root of Abi's career, and the daily inspiration behind the high standard of care provided at Raven’s View.
